India is merited with one man “King PM Modi” who has blessed India with a vision. The vision to be a super power, the vision to be one among the biggest economy of the world, the vision to eliminate corruption. Every common man wish for a life that is peaceful and full of freedom. PM Modi has pledged to stand with the people and together build a country that a world can look up to.
If we talk of Controversy, Conspiracy or Corruption, Kashmir is the name that tops the chart since last 72 years. Politicians and neighbouring countries have leveraged out of such controversy to make a name for themselves.
However PM Modi had other ideas and wanted to break the shackle and bring the peace and prosperity to the Kashmiris. This idea paved pay for revocation of Article 370 and 35A which will break free Kashmiri from the clutches of self cantered politicians and terror organization funded by Pakistan.
Impact of Article 370 abrogation on Pakistan
Ever Since Article 370 has been scrapped, The Pakistan Prime Minister has been all over. Pakistan has approached several countries for the support including the OIC countries but to no avail. Pakistan could manage to hold a closed door meeting with United Nation Security Council member so as to gain confidence of them and manage a solution to Article 370. But this route also hit the dead end.
Pakistan Prime Minister tried exploiting social media to foment the Muslim community in and beyond Kashmir but Indians thinktanks were ready with their strategy to clamp it down. There have been countless statement from Pakistan Ministers to terrorise India but none could break the tenacity of Indians.
Can Pakistan Do The Same By Integrating POK?
There have been several arguments If Pakistan can do the same by Integrating POK with it. But the truth is they don’t stand any rights to possess the land of Kashmir. Maharaja Hari Singh made unconditional accession with India in the year 1947 citing attack from Pakistan to capture Kashmir. The war was bravely fought by Indian army to push back the Pakistani but with an abrupt ceasefire announced by UN laid a disputed boundary known as LOC.
Ever Since then the part of Kashmir under Pakistan has been administered by them which we call it as POK or in other term AZAD Jammu Kashmir (AJK). However AJK is a self governing state with its own President, Prime Minister, Legislative Assembly and High Court. On the top of that, AJK’s financial matters such as Budget and Tax Affairs are also handled by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council rather than by Pakistan’s Central Board of Revenue. Altogether AJK is more of an independent state administered by Pakistan.
Under such prevailing condition, If Pakistan makes any move to Integrate POK with it, they might lose support of POK people and this can cause insurgency. An antagonistic POK would adversely affect Pakistan strength and will allow India with an upper hand to make advancement in POK. This will also dilute Pakistan stand on Kashmir in International Arena. Altogether Pakistan neither stands any legal right nor any authority over POK.
My Take
Pakistan is in a depleted state at the moment with no International support. Their economy is the worst ever since Pakistan name appeared on the map. There are lots of good things to worry about than Kashmir. If they stay adamant for something they don’t stand any rights, then….
